In contrast, many of those who were laid off have chosen to be their own bosses when starting their companies.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Allied to this, there are still those who already have their companies for many years, but want to formalize their businesses and enjoy the benefits that this brings.<\/p>\n<\/div>

For these two cases, the best alternative is to become an Individual Microentrepreneur (MEI).<\/p>\n<\/div>

Noting that in 2021, more than 80% of all CNPJs opened were from MEI's.<\/p>\n<\/div>

What is Simple Nacional?<\/h2>\n<\/div>

Simples Nacional is a shared regime for the collection, collection and inspection of taxes applicable to Micro and Small Businesses, provided for in Complementary Law No.<\/p>\n<\/div>

It covers the participation of all federal entities (Union, States, Federal District and Municipalities).<\/p>\n<\/div>

\n

It is administered by a Management Committee composed of eight members: four from the Federal Revenue Service of Brazil (RFB), two from the States and the Federal District and two from the Municipalities.<\/p>\n<\/div>
