2022 starts with great expectations for some public tenders. One of the most awaited is the INSS, which we explain in the article below.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>

In election years, the rules for holding public tenders are changed.<\/p>\n<\/div>

This is because by law, for a public tender to be held in an election year, it needs to be authorized at least 6 months before, so that there is no legal infraction.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Given that the 2022 elections are scheduled for October 2, this authorization needs to be given by the beginning of April.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The Ministry of Economy is responsible for this authorization, and within this rule, one of the most anticipated tenders for this year is the INSS.<\/p>\n<\/div>

This is because the lack of public servants is very large, which has led to a delay in providing assistance and granting retirement, pensions and benefits in general.<\/p>\n<\/div>

What is the INSS and what is its function<\/h2>\n<\/div>
\n

The National Institute of Social Security - INSS was created on June 27, 1990, through Decree No. 99.350, from the merger of the Institute of Financial Management of Social Security and Assistance - IAPAS with the National Institute of Social Security - INPS , as an autarchy linked to the Ministry of Social Security and Assistance - MPAS.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The INSS is responsible for operationalizing the recognition of the rights of insured persons under the General Social Security System \u2013 RGPS, which covers more than 50 million insured persons and approximately 33 million beneficiaries in 2017.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The INSS has more than 1500 service points throughout Brazil.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>

In article 201 of the Brazilian Federal Constitution, the organization of the RGPS is observed, which has a contributory nature and mandatory membership, and where all INSS activities are framed, respecting government policies and strategies arising from hierarchically superior bodies, such as ministries.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The entity is currently linked to the Ministry of Economy.<\/p>\n<\/div>

\n

The INSS is characterized, therefore, as a public organization that provides social security services to Brazilian society.<\/p>\n<\/div>

\n

It is in this context and seeking to preserve the integrity of the quality of service to this public that the Institute has been seeking alternatives for continuous improvement, with programs of modernization and operational excellence, emphasizing the optimization of results and tools that support the process of ideal service to the desires of citizens.<\/p>\n<\/div>

What are the vacancies and salaries expected for the INSS 2022 contest?<\/h2>\n<\/div>

According to the request sent to the Ministry of Economy, the announcement will include a total of 7,575 vacancies.<\/p>\n<\/div>

\n

Vacancies will be offered for both the middle and upper level.<\/p>\n<\/div>

\n

The distribution will take place as follows:<\/p>\n<\/div>
