RG Digital came to make life easier for Brazilians. The application allows access to the RG document by the citizen's own cell phone. In this way, it will no longer be necessary to carry the printed form of the document with you every time you go out. <\/p>\n<\/div>

In addition, the use of the RG in digitalized form prevents the possibility of the person forgetting the identity at home, since the document is accessible on their own cell phone. It's very modern, isn't it? <\/p>\n<\/div>

Step by step to download the App<\/h2>\n<\/div>

Before telling you step-by-step how to download the application, it is important to note that not all states provide the RG in digital format. Only 7 Brazilian states use this version, they are: Alagoas, Par\u00e1, Para\u00edba, S\u00e3o Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Goi\u00e1s and the Federal District. <\/p>\n<\/div>

  1. Check which is the RG Digital app in your state (Each state has a specific app);<\/li>
  2. Download your state's RG Digital application from Google Play, if your cell phone system is Android, or from the App Store, if your system is iOS. (The download is completely free).<\/li>
  3. Once downloaded, the next step is to register your RG. To register your digital RG, you must have the printed document in hand. <\/li>
  4. Scan the QR Code on the back of your printed document using your cell phone camera. <\/li>
  5. Perform facial recognition (this step is very important for app security).<\/li>
  6. Create a password (this password will be used every time you log in to the app). <\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div>

    After performing all these steps, you will be able to access your identity document from your smartphone. <\/p>\n<\/div>

    Offline access is not yet available, but it is something the government has proposed to address in the near future. <\/p>\n<\/div>
