Check it out below.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"mx-5 sm:mx-0 prose leading-relaxed text-lg mb-5 text-left wp-paragraph\">\n<p>They say that one of the best feelings in life is finding lost money.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"mx-5 sm:mx-0 prose leading-relaxed text-lg mb-5 text-left wp-paragraph\">\n<p>With the current economic crisis and the difficulty that many Brazilians are facing, receiving some money without waiting would be a wonderful thing.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"mx-5 sm:mx-0 prose leading-relaxed text-lg mb-5 text-left wp-paragraph\">\n<p>And one of the places where people most forget they have money is in bank accounts and closed financial transactions.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"mx-5 sm:mx-0 prose leading-relaxed text-lg mb-5 text-left wp-paragraph\">\n<p>With that in mind, the Central Bank (BC) has developed a tool to help Brazilians: the <strong><em>Registration<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><!--advertisement--><div class=\"mx-5 sm:mx-0 sm:text-3xl text-2xl font-medium title-font mb-4 text-gray-900 text-left\">\n<h2 id=\"o-que-e-o-banco-central-e-quais-as-suas-funcoes\">What is the Central Bank and what are its functions<\/h2>\n<\/div><div class=\"mx-5 sm:mx-0 prose leading-relaxed text-lg mb-5 text-left wp-paragraph\">\n<p>The Central Bank (BC) is an autarchy of a special nature, created by Law No. 4,595\/1964 and with autonomy established by Complementary Law No. 179\/2021.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"mx-5 sm:mx-0 prose leading-relaxed text-lg mb-5 text-left wp-paragraph\">\n<p>Among all its duties, the following stand out:<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"mx-5 sm:mx-0 prose text-left mb-5\">\n<ul><li>Keep control of inflation;<\/li><li>Ensuring that the national financial system is safe and has capital to support all transactions made;<\/li><li>Hold the main government accounts and be the depository of the country&#039;s international reserves;<\/li><li>Manage financial institutions, given that all of them need to maintain accounts linked to the BC so that it can supervise them;<\/li><li>Issuing banknotes and coins.<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div><!--advertisement--><div class=\"mx-5 sm:mx-0 sm:text-3xl text-2xl font-medium title-font mb-4 text-gray-900 text-left\">\n<h2 id=\"entendendo-o-programa-minha-vida-financeira-e-o-sistema-registrato\">Understanding the \u201cMy Financial Life\u201d program and the Registrato system<\/h2>\n<\/div><div class=\"mx-5 sm:mx-0 prose leading-relaxed text-lg mb-5 text-left wp-paragraph\">\n<p>According to a study by the Central Bank, there are about <strong>R$ 8 billion<\/strong> of reais forgotten in bank accounts and financial operations.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"mx-5 sm:mx-0 prose leading-relaxed text-lg mb-5 text-left wp-paragraph\">\n<p>Among this value, the forgotten resources stand out in:<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"mx-5 sm:mx-0 prose text-left mb-5\">\n<ul><li>Closed checking or savings accounts with an available balance;<\/li><li>Rates and installments or obligations related to credit operations unduly charged, provided that the return is provided for in a Term of Commitment signed by the bank with the BC;<\/li><li>Capital quotas and apportionment of net surpluses of beneficiaries and participants of credit unions;
