- The future apprentice must be attending high school or have completed this school stage;
- It is necessary to be between 16 and 22 years old, but it is common for the bank to give preference to people who are over 18 years old for branches;
- If you are a PcD (Person with a Disability), there is no age limit;
- The company values the initiative in learning standard processes and solving daily problems within the bank's normal activities;
- Itaú gives preference to new apprentices who are in a situation of social vulnerability and study in the public school system.

- Contract lasting up to two years (24 months)
- Young Apprentice Itaú is entitled to a signed work permit;
- Reduced working hours for those in school (6 hours);
- Day of 8 hours daily for those over 18 years old, including the professional course;
- Itau Apprentice undergoes the initial theoretical training process and during his two-year contract. There are around 800 hours of training spread over the working day
- Medical and Dental Assistance Agreement;
- Life insurance;
- Paid holidays compatible with school or college holidays
- Payment of the FGTS (Senior Severance Indemnity Fund);
- 13th salary
- Meal allowance and/or transportation
How much does a Young Apprentice earn?
Analogously to most salary calculations, the payment of the Young Apprentice also has to do with the current minimum wage, which is now R$1212 in 2022.
Therefore, the average salary of a Young Apprentice is approximately R$1189. But this is an average value, that is, it can vary more or less.
In the case of the salary for Itaú apprentices, the remuneration is close to R$1 thousand, based on the Glassdoor portal. This is a website that gathers various information from the employees themselves about the company.
